Green Mountain

Continuing with our 'Green' theme. We celebrated the first day of Spring by snowshoeing upper Green Mountain. I think we snowshoed about the same amount of time as it took us to put on the gear and get ready. It was still a nice workout through the woods...

Taking this picture I yell "Avery it's time to go".

Avery replies "Mom, I'm not done eating snow".

We'd like to thank Uncle Eddie for the Spartan gear. It arrived just in time for Halen to sit down, unwind and watch his first basketball game...

Rockin' Weekend!

Well, we did it. We managed to get Avery on ski's. Warm and sunny on Saturday we headed up the canyon to BBQ and bonfire. Sunday we headed for the slopes not realizing snow was in the forecast. Not the sunny, blue skies I envisioned for Av's first turn on ski's but we had a blast and she did GREAT!!

First 15 minutes...so far so good. It's snowing but not too hard..yet...

Goodbye February...

Hello March! Even though February is the shortest month it seemed never-ending. I am happy to move on to a new (and hopefully warmer) month. Out of the norm for Boulder this time of year. Some of the highlights were Gran-Mary's visit, Chris' birthday and do I dare say it....Avery is finally potty trained!!!
