Trick-or-Treat

Happy Halloween everyone! Great weather for running around the neighborhood. Avery really got the hang of it this year. We met at a neighbors house and walked around with about 9 kids. Fun!

Halen's ONE!!

Happy Birthday big guy! We slept in, enjoyed a pancake breakfast and had some good friends over for dinner. Halen shares a birthday with Jax. They are about 8 hours apart. Buds for life!

Halloween Festivities

Wow, it's not even Halloween and we are busy with all sorts of Halloween festivities. Enjoying the warm weather and good friends. Halloween seems to be a week long Holiday these days. I don't think we did this much when I was a kid! Good thing we love this time of year. :)

Meadowlark Halloween Party

Today was Avery's school Halloween Party. We arrived in our costume ready for the costume fashion show/parade. For the past couple of months Avery was going to be a Fairy but yesterday when I pulled out her costume from last year, she decided she wanted to be a witch again. Although it was sunny, it was still a bit chilly to have the parade outside. All of the kids lined up and paraded by to show off their costumes. One by one, they stepped up onto a table while Miss Melissa commentated. Very cute!

Unseasonably Warm October...

It's been a toasty October! Enjoying Fall and just trying to get outdoors as much as possible...

Rockin out in moms shoes.

Happy

We tried a new hike that was more of a mountain bike trail. At least Avery had fun counting the bikers riding by us.

Ready for a hike.

Up.

H is on the move!!

Carrot anyone?
Couldn't resist taking this photo from the Farmers Mkt this past Saturday. I was in awe.

Fun at Cottonwood Farm

We lost ourselves in the corn maze, ran amuck in the straw bale maze, visited with some farm animals and went pumpkin pickin'. Beautiful morning spent on the farm...

Loaded the kids into the wagon and headed for the patch.

Mad dash to pick out her pumpkin.

You should have seen her carry these to the car! (kidding)

We think Halen enjoyed his first trip to the pumpkin patch.

How Tall this Fall? 3Ft!

Doing circles around and thru the maze.

Halen really enjoyed the animals. Avery not so much.

Halen started chewing on his pumpkin so we knew it was time to head home for lunch!
