Sunday 8/14. Avery's first time in the ocean. She was excited!
Monday 8/15. My beautiful niece Anna. The pics below were taken from the "campground" beach. You need 4 wheel drive to drive out onto the beach.

Tuesday 8/16. Ferry to Ocracoke Island.
My daily shot of the kids. Today, Halen wasn't having it. It was so hot and humid. The kids were melting down as well as the parents. Parents being me. :)
Wednesday 8/17. We had a couple of theme nights planned. Here we are tie-dying. End results with us all in our gear at the end of this post!

We rented surf boards for the week. Chris and Jeff are waiting to catch a wave.

8/18 Thursday. Av watching the surfers at Lighthouse beach.
Cape Hatteras Light House. Tallest in the U.S. Avery was very bummed she couldn't climb to the top. Just a tad too short. Next time!

Geoff was kind enough to take family photos of everyone one night after dinner. The reason why we are in Hawaiian gear is because it was Hawaiian night. :)
