Christmas in Michigan

Shortly after our Thanksgiving adventure in KY, Avery and I headed to Michigan for 3 weeks. I wasted no time introducing her to the family. The first one to meet her was Aunt Trishie-pooh.

Later that night, Avery and I helped Aunt Sara and cousin Anna decorate the tree.

The first weekend we were in town we hit the road and headed to Cleveland to visit Gran-Mary. It was a little rainy so we decided to spend the afternoon at the Botanical Gardens. Here I am with Gran-Mary and Grandma B.

Later on, Gran-Mary gave me my yoga onesie to open. Aren't I cute?!

We had a great time visiting Gran-Mary and Ed but had to head back to MI. (we can't wait to visit again - hopefully this summer!) When we got back into Jackson we went to cousin Anna's Christmas program. Anna, which one is Nolan? :)

Our second weekend in Michigan we headed to Holland to FINALLY meet cousin Frankie!! He's two months older than Avery and a big boy. Maybe that's why he's called "Frank the Tank"...

Back in Jackson, time to bathe again! Ahh...this is the life!!

At the Bullinger Christmas party Avery met Santa and she wasn't afraid! She met lots of cousins. Below is cousin Renee with Colin, all of the babies born in 2007, a family photo with Santa and Avery, Frankie, Anna, Grandma B and the siblings/spouses...

After having breakfast at Grandma B's we headed over to the Daly Christmas party. Trying to get all of the cousin's kids together for a picture was quite the job but we did it! And then Santa showed up and Avery didn't mind having another picture snapped.

Thanksgiving in Louisville, KY

Avery took her first plane ride to Louisville over Thanksgiving. She did great and met lots of family for the first time. Here she is on Thanksgiving hanging out with Uncle Geoff and Auntie Julie.

3 Months Old Today!

Can't believe Avery is already 3 mos old. Time sure goes by quickly!

Happy Halloween!

I wish I could say this first Halloween was a little more eventful. We put Avery in this bear suit ?, leaned her against the pumpkin and called it a night!

Enjoying Fall...

I can't remember a Fall Season being so warm and sunny since I've lived in CO. It's been the perfect time to be on maternity leave! :)

First Weekend Away with Baby...

After packing up our car with one baby and one dog I want to know how families do it with multiple kids and animals. We headed down to Redstone CO (near Aspen) for our friends wedding and there was no way we were going to fit anymore in our car. Needless to say, the wedding was beautiful as was the scenery!

2nd Month - Lots of Family and Friends!

The second month was filled with lots of family and friends visiting...

Gran-Mary flew out from Cleveland to spend a week with us.

Grandma B, Aunt Sara and cousin Anna flew out for a long weekend from MI.

Crazy Uncle Eddie flew in for a weekend but didn't bring Aunt Suzy or cousin Frankie :(

Erin flew in from LA with Keith and Dylan. They used to live in Boulder and we wish they'd move back!
