Curt Gowdy State Park, WY

We had our own little Western adventure camping up north in Wyoming this past weekend. Yee Haw!

Saturday morning. Avery was the last one to wake up at 9am.

Happy Independence Day!

We did it all...baking, bike rides, ice cream, pool, bbq, picnic, concert, parade, watermelon and fireworks. Happy 4th all!

This year we stuck around the neighborhood and watched the fireworks that were shooting off from CU's stadium. Great view and no crazy crowds, just the hood! :)

Summer is in Full Swing

This is on our way home from the Farmers Market on Saturday. Avery rode 8+ miles that day on her bike!!!!! We are so excited and proud of her. Chris pulled Halen in the trailer while Av was sandwiched between us on the ride downtown and back. This is actually on CU's campus on our way home. We grabbed some subs on the Hill and took a lunch break. She still wanted to ride her bike around. We thought we might have one tired little girl on the ride home (alot of uphill) but we didn't hear one negative word until we turned into our neighbor. She was asking for more water and was hot. What a trooper!

Full House

We watched our friends two kids while they were attending a wedding in Mexico. Evan is two months older than Avery and Jax was born on the same day as Halen. Needless to say, it was a very busy weekend...and fun!

The sandbox Chris built was a hit (and done just in time for our guests!).

Saturday morning we drove two cars up to Chautauqua and hiked around for a bit. Afterwards, we hit the park and the kids tired themselves out. (Yay for parks!)

Evan was a huge help with the garden. I think he found all the worms.

I was able to snap this right as they all sat down to watch the Lion King. As you can see, Halen is already getting up from his seat. Not a fan of movies yet. This was a nice end to our weekend!

Cascade Campground, CO

The Bugbee Clan's first camping trip of the summer was a success. We packed up the car and drove 2.5 hours southwest to Nathrop, CO. Destination was Cascade Campground, which was a few miles west of Mt. Princeton Hot Springs resort. 6 adults, 6 kids ages 3 and under and 2 dogs had a great time. We wouldn't have wanted to spend our anniversay any other way!
