This is a picture of a child who kept her parents up ALL night. Yes, we decided to go camping (one night only) to try it out and it was a disaster. Well, it was fun up until bedtime and then Avery decided she didn't want to go to sleep...

Good Weekend

This past wkend was nice and relaxing. All the house projects are done (for now) so we headed down to Denver to the Rockies game.

It was a nail biter but the Rockies came out on top to beat the Twins!

Now that Avery is pulling herself up and moving all over, this is usually how we find her in the mornings. Don't worry...we lowered her mattress so she won't tumble out!

Run, Run, Run for the Roses!

Ahh...the first Saturday of May. So sad we couldn't be in Louisville for the Kentucky Derby this year, but we did host our 2nd Annual Bugbee Derby Party in Boulder. Weather was perfect on Saturday considering it snowed on Thursday. It was Avery's first Derby party and she was all dressed up in her dress and hat!

The mint juleps were flowing as were the bets. Avery had 5 bucks riding on Colonel John (in honor of Bumpa) but came up short. As you can see, she just wanted to eat the money. :)
