Michigan Visit - Week One

Hard to believe we've been in Michigan for one week now. Avery and I got into town last weekend after an "OK" flight. Now that she's bigger she doesn't want to sit still. Luckily the man sitting next to us understood..he has 4 girls. We headed out to the Bullinger cottage for a little R&R for a few days. Gran-Mary joined us from Cleveland. We had a blast! Avery loved hanging out in the sand and playing in the water. It was just what we needed...

The Butte

We just returned from a long weekend in Crested Butte (by far our favorite CO destination!). Our friends Pat and Shawna were married on Saturday. It was a beautiful ceremony as well as weather...perfect for hikes and being outside. :)

PS - today is the Frankster's 1st birthday. Happy B-day and we'll see you soon!!

Adventures in Camping...

This is a picture of a child who kept her parents up ALL night. Yes, we decided to go camping (one night only) to try it out and it was a disaster. Well, it was fun up until bedtime and then Avery decided she didn't want to go to sleep...

Good Weekend

This past wkend was nice and relaxing. All the house projects are done (for now) so we headed down to Denver to the Rockies game.

It was a nail biter but the Rockies came out on top to beat the Twins!

Good morning...

Now that Avery is pulling herself up and moving all over, this is usually how we find her in the mornings. Don't worry...we lowered her mattress so she won't tumble out!
