Kiddos (part 2)

Holy cow, where has the time gone?? Hard to believe it's already August and our little guy is 9 months old. We've just been hanging around enjoying the summer. Halen has three more teeth that have made an appearance. (He now has 2 on the top and 3 on the bottom) He's really getting into everything these days. Avery turns 3 in a few days and starts preschool in a couple of weeks. She is very, very excited to go to "school". We have lots of family coming to visit in the next couple of weeks and a roadtrip in the future...Lots of fun ahead!

Halen is all over the place these days. He's pulling himself up onto whatever he can reach, crawling at a super baby pace and starting to cruise around. Walking is around the corner...

We gave Avery her birthday present a couple of weeks early. In the short time she's had her strider she's almost mastered riding/gliding. Video to come if I can catch up to her! :)

Ned to Den

Cruised up to Nederland (small town west of Boulder, up the Canyon) to check out the newly restored 100 year old Carousel. Then headed down to Denver for Jazz in the Park..

Stopped along the road up to Eldora ski Mtn. Nice views of Indian Peaks Wilderness.

Keepin' Cool

It's hot, hot, hot! Hot everywhere. Boulder tied a record high on Saturday. While we were down on Pearl St. trying to keep cool Av got her picture taken by a photographer with the Boulder Daily Camera. She made it into the Sunday paper!

4th of July festivities

We had a nice, hot, relaxing 4th. Beautiful all weekend except for a few hours when we would have watched the fireworks - it rained. Oh well, there's always next year. Here are a few pics from the weekend...
